Our Story

Most investment firms are run by people who have spent their entire lives behind a spreadsheet. We’re different. Oak Capital Holdings was born from a shared belief that the best way to grow a business is to actually understand what it takes to run one.

Oak Capital Holdings was founded by two Raleigh-based entrepreneurs—one an operator who successfully built and exited his own company, and the other an attorney experienced in guiding businesses through complex transitions and structural hurdles. We didn't start this firm to just "buy assets." We started it to be the steady hand needed to navigate the complexities of what comes next.
